A 1,500 sq m flat-roof overlay on a working factory
Water ingress was reaching plant and machinery inside a large Loughborough factory, and a roof survey traced it back to previous poor workmanship. We overlaid the whole 1,500 sq m roof with a two-layer bitumen system — detailing around roof lanterns and vertical flashings while the factory kept working — backed by a 20-year workmanship guarantee (the term in place at the time of the works).

Thurnby
A listed home in Thurnby, re-roofed in reclaimed Welsh slate
Water was getting into a listed family home through failing chimneys and an eroding parapet wall. Six weeks of work: a full strip and re-roof in reclaimed Welsh slate fixed with copper nails, a lead ridge made to fit an apex no standard ridge tile would cover, lime mortar repointing throughout, and new timber roofline with cast iron guttering.

A full pitched re-roof in Knighton, with a repointed chimney and a new bay roof
Ageing concrete tiles, rotting battens and nail rot had made repairs to this Knighton family home no longer worth doing. Over twelve days we stripped and re-covered the main roof and rear extension, repointed and reflaunched the chimney, refelted the bay window in a single-layer system, and fitted new soffits and fascias — backed by a 20-year workmanship guarantee on the main roof areas.
