Chimneys take more weather than almost any other part of a roof, and they're one of the most common places for a leak to start. By the time you see a damp patch on a bedroom ceiling, the water has usually been getting in around the stack for a while.

Repointing
Chimney mortar weathers, cracks and eventually falls out, letting water soak into the brickwork. Repointing rakes out the old, failed mortar and replaces it with a sound, weatherproof joint — restoring the stack rather than papering over the symptoms inside.
Cowls and accessories
We fit cowls and chimney accessories to keep rain, birds and downdraught out of a flue — whether the chimney is still in use or capped off on a disused stack. We'll advise on the right fitting for how the chimney is (or isn't) being used.
Done alongside the roof
