Privacy Policy

In plain terms: we collect what you tell us when you ask for a quote, we use it to answer you and do the work, and we don’t track you around the internet. This page sets out the detail.

Last updated 20 August 2026.

Who we are

DLT Roofing Limited, registered in England and Wales, company number 11684519, registered office Unit 3, 49 Clifton Road, Leicester, LE2 8AA. We are the data controller for the information described here.

We’re registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office under reference ZA526875, which you can check on the ICO’s public register.

What we collect

If you fill in our quote request form, we collect the details you put into it:

  • Your name
  • Your phone number and email address
  • Your postcode
  • Which service you’re asking about, and whatever you write in the message box

If you contact us by phone, text, WhatsApp or email instead, we hold that correspondence and anything you send with it, such as photographs of your roof.

Our website host also keeps standard server logs when any page is requested — including your IP address, browser type and the page you asked for. That is a routine part of serving a website securely, not something we use to build a profile of you.

What we don’t do

Worth stating plainly, because plenty of sites do the opposite:

  • This site sets no cookies — which is why you haven’t been asked to accept any.
  • There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixels and no cross-site tracking. Nothing here follows you around other websites.
  • We don’t sell, rent or share your details with anyone for marketing, and we won’t add you to a mailing list because you asked for a quote.

The one thing stored in your browser is your light or dark theme preference, so the site looks the way you left it when you come back. It stays on your device and tells us nothing.

We do count visits, using Vercel’s privacy-friendly analytics. It records which pages get looked at, roughly which part of the country the visit came from, and which of the call, WhatsApp or email buttons people use — so we know which pages are worth writing more of. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, and can’t identify you or link one visit to another. Nothing you type into the quote form goes anywhere near it. That is why there is no banner asking your permission: there is nothing here to permit.

Why we hold it, and on what basis

We use your details to reply to your enquiry, survey your roof, prepare a written quote, carry out work you go ahead with, and honour the workmanship guarantee afterwards. Where you have asked us for a quote, we are acting on your request and in our legitimate interest in responding to it; where you become a customer, we hold it to perform our contract with you and to meet our legal record-keeping obligations.

Who else handles it

We keep this list short on purpose. Two suppliers are involved in running the site:

  • Formspark receives the quote request form and passes it to us by email. It also screens submissions for spam, which is what stops the form being abused.
  • Vercel hosts the website and keeps the server logs described above.

If you choose to message us on WhatsApp, that conversation is carried by WhatsApp under its own privacy terms as well as ours.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry correspondence for up to one year. Where you become a customer, we keep records of the work and the guarantee for as long as that guarantee runs, and we keep the financial records we are legally required to keep. Anything we no longer need is deleted.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it’s wrong, ask us to delete it, or object to us holding it. Just get in touch and we’ll deal with it — you don’t need to make a formal production of it.

If you aren’t happy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. For a complaint about our work rather than your data, see our complaints policy.

Changes to this policy

If we change what the website does with your information — for example by adding analytics — we will update this page and the date at the top of it.
