DLT Roofing has covered Leicester and most of the Midlands since 2018 — domestic, commercial and industrial. It’s a young company built on a lot of experience: the team behind it brings more than 20 years on the tools to every roof we touch.

Our story

A newer name, a long trade.

DLT started breaking into the industry in 2018. The name is newer than the hands behind it — between them, the team has spent more than two decades roofing everything from terraced houses to commercial units across the Midlands.

We work on flat, pitched and heritage roofs, for homeowners and businesses alike — full re-roofs, flat-roof renewals, commercial systems and scheduled maintenance. Whatever the job, it’s detailed properly and our workmanship is guaranteed in writing.

One thing we’re known for is the work others turn down: listed-building and conservation re-roofing, including the ecology surveys and bat-compliant detailing that heritage roofs often legally require.

You won’t be passed around a call centre. Connie and Dave run DLT between them, and behind them is a small crew of slaters, tilers and flat-roofing specialists — the same faces from the first site visit to the last ridge tile.

What happens if you ever need to call on it.

A guarantee is only worth the process behind it. Ours runs ten to twenty-five years on a re-roof, depending on the materials and system used, and the exact term is written into your quote before you commit to anything.

We give it ourselves — there’s no third-party scheme in the middle and nobody else to chase. So if something isn’t right with work we’ve done, this is exactly what happens.

    Tell us, with a photo if you can

    Call, email or text. A couple of photos in the first instance help us understand what we're looking at before we set off.

    We come and look, within two working days

    We aim to be out to view the issue within two working days of hearing from you, on a date that works for you.

  3. 03

    If it's down to our work, we put it right

    We treat it as a priority. Where we can, we sort it there and then on that visit — otherwise we aim to have it resolved within five working days, at no extra cost to you.

  4. 04

    If it isn't our work, we'll tell you straight

    Sometimes the cause turns out to be something separate from the job we did. We'll say so rather than fudge it, and get a written quotation to you within seven working days.

These timescales cover work we’ve completed and guaranteed. We also use high-specification materials that have been tried and tested, so a roof shouldn’t fail on product quality either.

Heritage & conservation, done properly.

Older and protected buildings come with rules many roofers won’t take on — ecology surveys, bat-friendly detailing and like-for-like materials. We handle that side as carefully as the roof itself, so the work is both watertight and compliant.
