How work comes to us out here
Word of mouth, mostly. A re-roof takes a fortnight and happens in full view of the street, so the neighbours get a good look at how the scaffolding went up, how much noise there was, and what the place looked like when we left. A fair few of the jobs we've done in Markfield started with somebody watching the last one.
That's a slower way to build a reputation in a village than advertising, and a more durable one. It also means we can't afford an off day here — anything we got wrong would be common knowledge by the weekend.
The wider cluster
Markfield sits in the middle of a group of villages we're in regularly. Copt Oak and Stanton under Bardon are both minutes away, so if you're in any of the three, we're not travelling far to come and look at a roof.
Getting a roof looked at in Markfield
One of our team — usually Dave — comes out on an agreed date, you get the findings and options on site, and a written quote follows within seven days with the workmanship guarantee written in. On a re-roof that's ten to twenty-five years, depending on the materials and system, and we tell you the figure for your roof before you commit to anything.
